The Majors Division is for 10-12 year olds and is the closest thing to real baseball. The pitching distance is 50ft and the bases are set at 70ft. Official baseball rules are utilized with lead-offs, stealing, pitching from the stretch, balks and dropped 3rd strikes. Coaches continue to stress the fundamentals while introducing more advanced aspects of the game. Games are played at our hallmark Field 1 with real dugouts, an outfield fence and our only electronic scoreboard! Nine players are on the field so there may be times when your child is on the bench depending on team size. Pitch counts are monitored closely to safeguard against any arm injuries due to fatigue.

Eligibility: 

Registration for Majors is open to any interested parties though it's highly preferred that your son/daughter has played at least a season in Minors or Rookies. All participants MUST attend our pre-season evaluations as that session allows us to complete our draft fairly and accurately.

Parents Need to Provide:

Players are provided a replica MLB jersey and cap of their given team. Parents must supply gloves, cleats, baseball pants and protective gear (CUPS ARE MANDATORY). Many players have their own helmets and bats at this stage but the league has available supplies if you aren't able to provide your own.

Schedule Information:

The regular season generally runs from the last week of April until the first week of June. Practices/games are held on various weeknights from Monday through Friday, and most weeks each team will have a game on Saturday morning. Weeknight practices usually start at either 5pm or 6pm and are over now later than 830pm. The schedule will be published after enough parents have volunteered to coach and teams can be finalized, usually in mid-April.
